I am retired from the State of Texas after 26 years and have extensive experience working with children and the elderly. I worked with the Dept. of Aging and Disability and would like to continue working with the elderly or disabled after my retirement. I love helping people and have the much needed experience in doing so. I have much experience in monitoring providers in homes who provide daily assistance with day to day tasks for adults. So am very much aware of how a job needs to be done in the home of a client. I also have years of experience taking care of my mother who has alzheimers and is now in a nursing home.
